Mineral water "Svalyava" has been one of the most respected waters of Carpathian region since 15th century. The title "Svalyava" is derived from the word "salt", because its source is rich in mineral salts. The quality of water and its medicinal properties were highly appreciated in Europe: in the end of 19th - beginning of 20th century "Svalyava" was rewarded at international exhibitions in Paris, Vienna and Budapest. The water is classified as sodium bicarbonate boric mineral water with moderate mineralization level, which equals 4,0-4,8g/l.
Subject to its medicinal properties, the water improves and restores the performance of liver, biliary tract, digestion and metabolism, and contributes to kidney cleansing.
